Nathaniel Hahn has been placed on the 2018 Clarewood University Dean’s list

On January 5, 2019, Clarewood University started its Winter Quarter with pizza and a brief ceremony to award Nathaniel Hahn, who graduated last spring as top student.

Dr. Mark Zhong, the Administrative Dean said: “It is with great pleasure and pride that I want to announce that Nathaniel Hahn has been placed on the 2018 Clarewood University Dean’s list for his outstanding academic achievement and community service.”

As a software engineer, Nathan decided to join Clarewood MBA program on Oct. 1st, 2016 after reading an article about Clarewood. Since then, he has shown strong commitment and professionalism in his studies. Not only did he earn the highest GPA among the first cohort of graduates, but he always would consistently arrive ahead of time, barely missed class, and was actively involved in class discussions and presentations. He also spent a lot of time reading textbooks and doing research.

Furthermore, Nathan has a strong team player spirit and willingness to help his fellow classmates. He once stayed after class till midnight helping a classmate with statistics. He would often bring a rice cooker to prepare rice and other food for classmates on Saturdays. He also invited his father Dr. Hahn, a company executive, to give a lecture for our Speaker Series.

“As a startup university, we are proud to have Nathan Hahn as one of our alumni and wish to congratulate his success with this designation. We also are proud that he is leading the Clarewood Alumni Association and are sure that he will have bright ideas for its success. We wish for every student to strive to be the best they can be in the brand-new year. Again, remember our motto: Your success is our success.” Mark Zhong said.
